Grammy-nominated Teresa James & The Rhythm Tramps have long been a staple of the Los Angeles blues and roots scene, blending Texas blues, Memphis soul, New Orleans grooves, and Americana into a sound all their own. A Houston native known for her soulful, honey-soaked vocals and commanding keyboard work, James has recorded or performed with artists including Eric Burdon, Walter Trout, Delbert McClinton, Levon Helm, Randy Newman, Tommy Castro, and Marcia Ball.

The band’s acclaimed Here in Babylon earned a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album, while their latest release, Rose-Colored Glasses, leans further into their soulful side and features guest appearances from Anson Funderburgh, Lee Roy Parnell, Johnny Lee Schell, Snuffy Walden, and Dean Parks.

Backed by the world-class Rhythm Tramps and the songwriting and bass work of longtime collaborator Terry Wilson, Teresa James delivers a dynamic mix of blues, soul, roots, and rock with the heart, swagger, and musicianship that have made the band an international touring favorite.
